July 30th is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons and it is an important global day of awareness for human trafficking which is a human rights violation that plagues all of our communities across the globe. In 2013, the United Nations designated July 30th as a necessary day to “raise awareness of the situation of victims of human trafficking and for the promotion and protection of their rights.” This year's theme is "Reach every victim of trafficking, leave no one behind."
Justice At Last is proud to share that since our founding in 2015, we have made a concerted effort and have provided trainings and created awareness about human trafficking and the legal rights and forms of relief of trafficked persons to over 7,000 individuals. Please join Justice At Last and the rest of the world on this day to help create awareness and support trafficked persons to ensure no one if left behind. If you would like to contribute to our cause to ensure all trafficked persons within the San Francisco Bay Area have access to justice, please donate here. If you would like an introduction to human trafficking, please join our next volunteer training on Saturday August 12, 2023 starting at 9AM and register here.
