Please join us for a virtual screening and discussion of the documentary film “This Adventure Called California”.
To help create awareness that human trafficking happens in our own San Francisco Bay Area backyards during the Justice At Last #GivingJustice2023 campaign , we are delighted to be partnering with Tree Climber Media and award winning Producer and Director Jennifer Huang and show this film that addresses the vulnerabilities of being trafficked and re-exploited and the the determination and incredible resilience of the protagonist, Arnoldo Lopez Contreras to move forward and overcome constant obstacles.
The screening will be followed by a discussion on the impact and challenges of trafficking in our communities. Speakers include Rafael Bautista, United States Advisory Council on Human Trafficking, Jennifer Huang who directed and produced "This Adventure Called California" and Julissa Ponce Lived Experience Expert and Justice At Last Advisor.
