Restraining Orders and Child Custody

Justice At Last represents survivors in complex restraining order cases and child custody cases related to the trafficking to ensure that survivors’ privacy is protected, that their trafficking experience is not used against them, and that they have access to reasonable protections against violence and harm throughout family court proceedings. Most importantly, we help protect and enforce trafficked persons’ parental rights which allows for parents to connect, reestablish and bond with their children.
